A special police team executed a search warrant at a house on Caya Frere Arnold. Prior to their search, a SWAT team (Arrestatie Team) first entered and secured the area before allowing the team to conduct their search for drugs and weapons.
Many detectives were present at the scene where one suspect was arrested for selling drugs: A male, C.C.C.M., born in Colombia and 28 years of age. Both the apartment and the vehicle outside were searched by authorities.
The man is well known by the authorities after previously being involved in a firearm case. For these reasons, police opted to involve the SWAT team to execute the search warrant. A member of the Public Prosecutor’s Office was also present.
A significant amount of drugs as well as the vehicle were confiscated during the raid. The Aruban Police Force appeals to the community to call their tip line at 11141 in case anyone has information. Your anonymity is guaranteed.
