Police regularly receive reports of a supposed “dropping” of drugs on the northcoast of our island. When they go to investigate, however, they do not find any drugs nor people nearby. Today campers encountered ‘lost treasure, while digging in the white sand!
It was around 1:00 pm cu when a camper was digging in the white sand to set up the tent. The camper encountered buried drugs, which are likely worth a lot of money. Deciding that the ritches were not worth losing their freedom over, the camper decided to do the right thing and called the police right away!
The exact drug is not sure, but according to eyewitnesses at the scene, they took a sneak peek and the package appeared to contain cocaine.
The Police K9 Unit together with a team of detecrives went to inspect the location and confiscate the drugs.
