Tuesday afternoon, at around 4:10 pm, an accident occurred near Jon Tai Hardware store in Piedra Plat. The vehicles involved were a white Kia Rio and a white Honda Civic. As to how the accident occurred, we are not yet certain, but we do know that at least one person was injured.
An ambulance went to the scene to tend to the victim, and in the end, they were transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.
The impact was intense and both vehicles were severely damaged. A battery of one of the vehicles was ejected and the Civic’s airbags were deployed. Traffic Police arrived at the scene to document the accident.
