On Saturday at around 10 in the morning, fishermen aboard boats near Aruba observed another local boat capsizing.
The yacht “Kepasa” was closest to the incident and immediately went to assist. The Captain of “Kepasa”, Gregory Paesch, approached to see if they were okay. The Aruba Coast Guard was also immediately notified.
The sea was calm in the morning, but suddenly turned rough, causing the boat to encounter trouble and capsize. Preparations were made to see how the boat could be brought to land before it drifts into the rocks and breaks apart.
