This Friday, the court handled a penal case against 24-year-old D’Angelo Royer, who is accused of committing immoral acts against a 14-year-old girl.
These acts, according to the accusations, occurred in the period of Augustus 2021 until July 2023. When the acts were committed, Royer would have been 21 years old, and the child was only 14 years old. Royer denied knowing that the girl was only 14 years old at the time of his acts. “She always told me she was 18 years old, and I believed her.”
The sexual relations did not last longer than 9 months, but the girl got pregnant. Royer was detained in July when an employee of the “Bureau Sostenemi” filed a complaint. They filed this complaint because they received information that Royer wanted to kill the baby as soon as it was born. This, however, was not mentioned in the accusation.
The sentencing will take place in three weeks, they asked that Royer serve 9 months in jail.
