Just after midnight on Wednesday morning, a serious accident occurred at the L.G. Smith Boulevard and Adrian Lacle Boulevard intersection. The vehicles involved were a silver Kia Picanto and a motorcycle.
Various police units arrived at the scene to tend to the accident and an ambulance was called to aid the injured. Tree ambulances arrived at the scene and started tending to the two people who had been injured during the collision.
The Police Force’s spokesperson, Lito Lacle, explained that the victims (one man and one woman) were rushed to the hospital. He went on to say that BFTO was also on its way to commence its investigation.
The Kia Picanto went to make a turn into Adrian Lacle and failed to notice the oncoming motorcycle. This caused the two vehicles to collide. The driver of the Kia Picanto was detained under suspicion of driving under the influence. Both the motorcycle and the Kia were totaled.
