The police had their hands full early Saturday morning as accidents were happening left and right all over the island.
While the police were busy dealing with an accident in Tanki Leendert that left the entire neighborhood without power, they noticed a white Nissan Versa and decided to conduct a routine inspection. The driver of the Versa was blasting his music and was not following police orders to stop.
When they approached the car, it was clear to the authorities that the driver was intoxicated. He had a beer bottle in hand and there were at least three empty ones on the chair beside him.
The police detained the man right away and requested a transportation vehicle to take him to the police station.
