Yet again, another lamppost was damaged this past weekend. On Sunday night, the police were called to tend to an accident in Moko in which yet another lamppost was completely unearthed.
This occurred at around 9.30 pm, when the driver of a silver Nissan March lost control of their vehicle and crashed.
The driver then promptly fled the scene and went to evade authorities at her home. Luckily, the police acted quickly and managed to detain her at her home in Jaburibari. She was transported to the police station and interrogated. In the meantime, ELMAR was notified about the damaged lamppost. This accident left the entire Moko area without power. The material damages were significant and the driver of the March will likely have a hefty fee to pay.
