The community is on high alert after we received a call to our editorial team to report a series of thefts occurring in the Sabana Basora Noord neighborhood.
According to the caller, they caught a thief on camera stealing from cars in the neighborhood during the early morning hours over the past weekend. The thief targeted several vehicles, and the police are now asking if anyone recognizes the individual captured on video, to contact the police immediately.
The caller went on to say that the residents have already taken matters into their own hands. Within their Neighborhood Watch, they are vigilant, and if they need to confront the thief, they will not hesitate to act before alerting the police.
For this reason, they are requesting increased surveillance in the neighborhood because once these determined residents have had enough, they will not hesitate to act.
