The police and an ambulance were called to Katunastraat intersection to tend to two individuals who were injured in a serious accident.
This occurred around 12:15 p.m. and the vehicles involved were a white Nissan Versa and a white Nissan pickup. Due to the impact, two elderly people were injured and they were experiencing a lot of pain. Emergency services were rushed to the scene immediately.
Due to the extent of the damage to both vehicles, a tow truck had to be called to remove them from the road.
