On Friday evening at around 5:30 p.m., a serious accident occurred on Green Corridor near Pos Chikito.
One of the vehicles involved, a Nissan Kicks, somehow flipped over onto its side, while the other vehicle, a KIA Rio, collided with the road divider, leaving two people injured.
The accident caused traffic heading towards San Nicolas to come to a complete standstill, for which the police had to come and try to alleviate the congestion.
Two ambulances were rushed to the scene to tend to the victims and the fire department was also called to help extract one of the victims trapped in a car.
The material damage was considerable.
