Early this morning, an accident occurred involving an intoxicated driver. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the damage he caused was quite extensive.
The accident took place at around 4:10 am when the driver of a RAC was heading towards the roundabout near the Santa Anna Church. He lost control of the car and swerved onto the side of the roundabout, into the bar on the corner. He then went on to collide with the chairs under the roof of the establishment.
He also crashed into a parked car in the yard. The driver was apprehended as he was under the influence of alcohol. He will be transported to the police station, where he will be presented before a prosecutor.
