This weekend, Pereira, Colombia hosts the “5th International Riding Competition” and Aruba is to be represented by a delegation of four athletes.
The competition in Pereira attracts many prominent equestrian athletes. It’s a great stage for our athletes to measure their skills against so many participants.
Additionally, the Colombian Federation of Paso Fino Horses, Fedequinas, has granted Juan Zuleta, the Aruban horse trainer, the opportunity to participate as an observer during the three days of the fair, which are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
For Juan, it will be a great opportunity to practice his skills as a trainer on such a big stage. Juan is the only trainer Aruba has, and he will also function in the World Fair representing Aruba.
