On Saturday morning, another accident happened on the road from Noord towards Westpunt, right in front of Yen Yen. A young driver lost control of his pickup and rear-ended a silver Sedan.
The Sedan then hit a Kia, which in turn hit a Nissan Sentra. Several people sustained minor injuries but did not require hospitalization. Paramedics attended to everyone at the scene. Material damage was visible on the first two cars involved in the collision.
The traffic department investigated the accident and dealt with each driver. Representatives from the insurance companies also arrived. Two cars needed to be towed away from the scene. The accident site is the same location as the fatal accident that occurred last week.
