Early Saturday morning, at around 3:50 am, the driver of a Lexus traveling from the Noord towards Playa lost control on Sasakiweg (also known as Avenida Nelson Orlando Oduber). This caused the car to eventually swerve into the ditch on the side of the road.
The material damage to the car was considerable. A tow truck was called to remove the car from the ditch. Police are investigating the cause of the accident to determine why the driver lost control of the vehicle.
