Kiwanis Club of San Nicolas (KCSN) has installed its new board for the 2026–2027 Kiwanis year, with Artaiza Fräser taking over as president. The club’s motto for the coming year is “BELIEVE.”
“BELIEVE is not about ignoring reality, but about not letting what exists today determine everything that is still possible.” Through this motto, KCSN aims to encourage its members and the community to remain curious, continue learning and growing, and challenge their own ways of thinking to keep improving both as individuals and as a club.
During Saturday’s board installation ceremony, KCSN also thanked outgoing President Deborah van den Berg-Alexander and the 2025–2026 board for their leadership, dedication, and service throughout the past year under the motto “Step It Up.”
Several members were also recognized for their contributions, dedication, and impact over the past year. They included Evola Vlaun, Jennyfer Geerman, Shawn Gordon, Jean-Pierre Solognier, and Netera Brown.
With its new board in place, KCSN begins the 2026–2027 year with a commitment to believing in what is possible, in themselves, in one another, in the club, and in the community they serve. As the club’s message emphasizes, creating something greater begins with believing that it can be done.
