After 13 years in the music industry, local band ‘NFuzion has officially opened its new studio, marking an important milestone in the group’s development and fulfilling a long-held dream. The new facility gives the musicians a dedicated space to create, rehearse, and work on upcoming productions.
Ofo Escudero recalled that for the past 13 years, ‘NFuzion had been using a studio at John G. Emanstraat 124A. That location will remain available to other local bands that do not have a permanent place to rehearse and prepare for performances.
The new studio was designed around the needs of ‘NFuzion’s musicians, with the aim of making every member feel at home. Personal touches, such as having each musician’s name on their chair, help create a familiar and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the studio walls features the motto “Where it all begins.” According to Ofo, the phrase reflects the philosophy behind the project: every success starts with discipline, preparation, and respect for the audience and clients.
During his speech, Ofo thanked his family, sponsors, coworkers, and friends for their support and encouragement in bringing the project to life.
Lisette Escudero, wife of bandleader Ofo Escudero, also expressed her happiness about the opening. She explained that the studio had been a long-term goal that took time to achieve, but perseverance and dedication had finally made it possible.
She also thanked everyone who contributed to the project and supported the band during the opening. Lisette added that several new productions are already in the works and expressed confidence that more success lies ahead.
Drummer Ritchell Giel also shared his excitement about the achievement. He reflected on the band’s 13-year journey and highlighted the opportunities the new studio will bring.
According to Giel, the next step is to make full use of the new facilities to create more music and produce new songs. The band’s ambition is to reach a wider audience, both in Aruba and abroad.
With the opening of its new studio, ‘NFuzion is entering a new chapter, with more room for creativity, collaboration, and music production as it continues working to bring its music to audiences in Aruba and beyond.
