Cheaper to book room than pay fine for violating curfew

Wednesday, just after midnight, police were informed about two unwanted people on the Renaissance Hotel’s property. When they arrived, the security reported that he had already tried to tell the two men to leave the property because they violated the curfew, but they ignored him.

The police officers spoke to both parties, telling them that they violated the curfew and that they either had to book a room at the hotel or they will be arrested.

The mens decided to book a room.

After doing a little research on expedia.com, it showed that a room for 2 adults for one night costs about $466. It is unknown at what rate they got the room or received a local rate.

For sure, booking the room was much cheaper than paying the fine for violating the curfew, and the bed at the hotel is more comfortable than staying at any jail cell.
