Woman beats partner in car at Santa Cruz

As a result of the measures put in place to combat COVID-19, the cases related to social issues have been increasing. The police are having to mediate problems within a family, between couples and, between neighbors as well. The incident that occurred today is no exception.

At around 11:00 am this morning, various people sounded the alarm when they thought they were witnessing a man beat his partner in a white Honda parked in the parking lot at a bank in Santa Cruz.

The police patrol went there immediately, however, the vehicle that they were looking for had abandoned the parking lot and was now going through the drive-thru of a fast-food establishment. Here the police spoke to both people in the car.

As it turns out, it was the woman who was beating her partner and the man who was the victim of domestic abuse in this case.

Nevertheless, neither of them wished to file a complaint and the police, after having a stern talk with the couple, left them to figure out their problems amongst themselves.
