One lucky person won a brand new Kia Picanto at the Dakota Community & Sport center. They raffled off a car to raise funds in hopes to build new sports facilities in the area.
The winning ticket was drawn in front of an audience. The winning number was 26984. The winner could go claim their prize at the community center right away.
The selling of the tickets for the raffle went slowly at first but really picked up in more recent weeks. Luckily many more people responded to the cause and collaborated to reach the goal.
