Early Saturday morning just after 2:00 am, a serious accident occurred on the Kibaima road headed for Sta Cruz. The collision was between a Nissan March and a white Suzuki minivan. Passengers inside of the minivan had sustained injuries to the head while a woman was trapped inside of the March.
Authorities were notified immediately to assist in the situation. An ambulance arrived to tend to the victims while the firefighters arrived to free the woman who was tripped inside of the Nissan March.
In the end, everyone was freed and transported to the hospital for medical treatment. The traffic police then went on to investigate the scene to figure out what happened to cause the crash.
