The streets were very busy on Friday night, likely due to the fact that it’s the eve of a holiday Saturday with the King’s Day celebrations at hand. The Aruba Police Force was overwhelmed with all the incidents taking place.
One of these incidents occurred at 11:25 in Bubali, when the police were finally able to locate a car that they had been searching for for quite some time. The silver Renault was reported by several witnesses who stated that the driver had been recklessly speeding on the road and endangering traffic.
Patrol officers found this man, ready to leave another bar and continue his revelry.
Immediately, the police intervened and subjected him to a breathalyzer test. It was determined that he had exceeded the legal alcohol limit by law, leading to his arrest.
