On Friday at around 8:35 pm, an accident occurred at the roundabout in Ponton. Here, the driver of a white Hyundai Tucson got off of the roundabout and collided with a black Kia that was about to merge.
The driver of the Kia suffered minor injuries and was attended to by paramedics. Traffic police arrived to gather information on the accident during which the driver of the Tucson was tested. This test showed that the driver of the Tucson was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Immediately, he was detained and taken into custody for processing.
