The first phase of the Mangel Halto beautification project is complete

On Tuesday morning, the Minister of Tourism Dangui Oduber, marked the first phase of the Mangel Halto beautification project.

The Minister confirmed that 11 gazebos and 3 palapas were renovated. The official stated that both our locals and tourists frequent this area, so it is essential to maintain it.

Mangel Halto forms a part of the Marine Parks and is therefore under the management of the Aruba National Park Foundation (FPNA). Together with the Ministry of Tourism, they work to preserve and protect Aruba’s nature.

The mangroves are used for shade, but to preserve our nature, it is better for people to use the gazebos rather than the mangroves.

It was also announced that for Phase 2, all the palapas along the side of the road will be repaired. This project will further beautify Mangel Halto for our locals and tourists.
