The weekend is off to a rough start as the police have had their hands full with accident after accident. One of which occurred at 9:25 pm when a white Hyundai crashed in Hato, landing in the ditch on the side of the road.
The driver as well as a passenger, both women, remained trapped inside the car after the accident. According to witnesses at the scene, their vehicle reportedly flipped over approximately 4 times.
The police immediately closed off both sides of the road and rushed to provide assistance to the two women trapped in the car. They requested the presence of the Fire Department to cut the car and free these two women.
Two ambulances arrived to provide initial assistance to the injured women trapped in the car.
The car’s driver, understandably, was experiencing pain in her neck.
