For Ingrid Bislip, Halloween is about much more than a one-night celebration. Her family has maintained the tradition of celebrating together in Wayaca for many years. Now that her children are grown and have children of their own, the tradition continues with a new generation.
This year, many children stopped by to collect candy and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Bislip explained that each family member contributes something to the celebration, whether snacks or other items, before everyone gathers to enjoy the evening together.
Bislip said she has loved Halloween since she was a child. For her, the most meaningful part of the celebration is bringing the family together, sharing in the preparations, and creating lasting memories across generations.
